Safe poultry rearing in the household sector

This video aims to spread awareness among women in Egypt's rural society, especially those who are interested in raising poultry for meat, eggs or as a source of income. It also demonstrates the proper and correct methods of raising poultry in a safe and healthy manner, which reduce the possibility of exposing poultry to the risk of avian influenza infection. Such methods include buying one-day-old chicks from secure and trusted sources, as avian influenza is not transferred vertically from hens to baby chicks. The video also seeks to transfer knowledge about the measures to be taken while raising poultry. These measures include the need to assign certain clothing to be worn when working with poultry, which must be removed after exiting the yard.
