Jordan stands as a prime destination for agrifood investments, driven by its strategic location, diverse climate advantages, and political and economic stability.

As a cornerstone of national economic development and food security, Jordan's agricultural sector continues to demonstrate resilience and growth. Approximately 27% of its production is export-oriented, showcasing its competitiveness in regional and international markets. Simultaneously, 52% of input materials are sourced locally, significantly enhancing food security and reducing dependency on imports - an essential factor in national sustainability.

Supported by a cost-effective, business-friendly environment and a strategic commitment to innovation, Jordan is poised to expand its agrifood sector through foreign direct investment and strategic partnerships under the Hand-in-Hand Initiative. Three strategic investments totaling USD 62.4 million - the Northern Jordan Valley Citrus Hub, Mafraq Stone Fruit Hub, and Deir Alla Agropark - will improve efficiency, add value, and expand market access to enhance rural livelihoods, food security, and overall development.
