To mark its 80th anniversary, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in collaboration with its partners, is organizing the Africa Conference on Sustainable Agriculture Mechanization (SAM) in Dar Es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania, from 3 to 6 February 2026. The event aims to bring together stakeholders to enhance regional collaboration, strengthen institutional arrangements for effective mechanization delivery, foster knowledge exchange and promote sustainable agricultural practices that address the needs of African farmers.
