The BBNJ Agreement marks a significant milestone in the governance of areas beyond national jurisdiction. As key actors in the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity, fisheries bodies will be essential partners in its implementation. This event will bring together national, regional and global experts to discuss the role of FAO and RFBs in the BBNJ Agreement as it transitions from adoption to implementation.
