The event will present the key findings of The Second Report on the State of the World’s Forest Genetic Resources and the new global information system on forest genetic resources. Panellists will then discuss key issues for improving the management of forest genetic resources and the way forward in implementing the Global Plan of Action for the Conservation, Sustainable Use and Development of Forest Genetic Resources.
