Dear readers,
This year has been a remarkable journey for the FAO Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) in Asia and the Pacific. We have expanded our reach from seven to 13 countries, and our team has grown to over 150 team members, making our team the largest it has ever been. This expansion reflects the trust of our partners in FAO’s commitment and capability to deliver work that makes tangible impacts on animal health, global health security and One Health in the region.
As we approach the end of this year, I’d like to extend my sincere gratitude to our dedicated resource partners and stakeholders, as well as FAO's country teams and headquarters for their unwavering support. This extraordinary year was made possible by the collective efforts of all those involved.
