Support to agricultural Livelihood of rural and peri-urban returnees and communities in Ninawa governorate Iraq

 

The inaugural ceremony of dairy processing, marketing, and micro-enterprise centers established under the EU-funded project: Support to agricultural Livelihood of rural and peri-urban returnees and communities in Ninawa governorate Iraq, implemented by FAO in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture.

 

 

The event includes the following activities:

1. Opening ceremony
2. Distribution of milk equipment and sugar molasses
3. On-farm demonstrations of newly introduced green fodder crops
4. Inauguration of medium/small scale milk processing and marketing centers and village milk collection centers
5. Exhibition of traditionally processed dairy products
