Acknowledging the urgency of the water issues faced by countries of the region, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the sixth year, is co-organizing Cairo Water Week, a high-level global event on water issues, in collaboration with the European Union and convened by the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in Cairo from 29th October to 2nd November 2023.
This year’s main theme is “Action on Water Adaptation for Sustainability”, which will discuss and emphasize the adaptation actions in the water sector and ensure its vitality to achieving sustainability for the first time in this series.
