The Near East Forestry Week (NEFW) is the region’s premier platform for forestry and rangeland dialogue, knowledge exchange, and partnerships. Convened every two years, NEFW brings together governments, research institutions, civil society, private sector, and international organizations to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing forests, rangelands, and pastoralist communities.

The sixth edition, hosted by the Government of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah alongside the 27th Session of the Near East Forestry and Range Commission (NEFRC), will spotlight innovative practices in sustainable land management, inclusive governance, and nature-based investment opportunities.

NEFW 2025 is also a milestone moment, aligning with the 80th anniversary of FAO and 70 years of NEFRC, underscoring the region’s long-standing commitment to forestry and rangeland cooperation.
