Water Accounting in Use webinar series continue for fourth round in 2022.

After 37 sessions organized on water accounting under the project "Implementing the 2030 Agenda for Water Efficiency/Productivity and Water Sustainability in the NENA Countries", the Water Accounting in Use webinar series will continue in 2022. Building on what has been presented, the new sessions will address case studies on water accounting in the Near East and North Africa region. From water accounting activities in the south Atlas basins in Morocco to groundwater modeling in Palestine to water accounting in the El-Hamiz site in Algeria and different others, the next webinars will introduce these activities one by one.
What are the challenges that water accounting tried to overcome? What are the adopted approach and data sources used? What are the implications of the results of water accounting and how can they be used or were used by the concerned stakeholders? And, what were the challenges faced by the water accounting team and lessons learned that we could benefit from? These are all questions that the next sessions will try to answer.
