Tailored waste-to-energy solutions: Understanding the sustainable investment opportunities of biogas

Biogas from agrifood residues and waste can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve waste management, and generate renewable energy. But what does it take to make biogas projects financially viable and technically feasible? 

In this webinar, we hear from FAO experts on how feasibility studies in The Gambia and Solomon Islands have helped assess biogas investment potential and engage the private sector in sustainable energy solutions.

Both studies were conducted under the Scaling up Climate Ambition on Land Use and Agriculture through Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Plans (SCALA) programme, a joint FAO-UNDP programme, as part of the Private Sector Engagement Facility.
