Adapted greenhouse covering materials and digital sensors are helping farmers reduce heat stress, improve crop yields and make more informed decisions on irrigation and crop management.

At Caribbean Week of Agriculture 2026, FAO and regional partners called for coordinated action on cargo aggregation, infrastructure, trade procedures, flexible shipping models and investment to improve food trade across the Caribbean.
