Malawi: El Niño impact assessment highlights - August 2024

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Malawi Vulnerability Assessment Committee, the World Food Programme and the Department of Disaster Management Affairs conducted an assessment to understand the impact of El Niño on agricultural production and livelihoods in ten districts – Balaka, Blantyre, Chikwawa, Chiradzulu, Dowa, Machinga, Mangochi, Nsanje, Phalombe and Thyolo.
