Every year, GBEP organizes a Bioenergy Week in a different region of the world. These events facilitate dialogue among a large network of bioenergy stakeholders. 

Participants have a unique opportunity to exchange views, best practices and lessons learned, and to discuss trends, opportunities and challenges in bioenergy. The Bioenergy Week includes a visit to successful bioenergy facilities in the region hosting the event. The study tour is also a chance for young academics to give visibility to their research on bioenergy through the Annual GBEP Youth Award.
