40/2 Meeting of the Executive Committee of the ECA

The 40/2 meeting of the Executive Committee of the European Commission on Agriculture is scheduled for 21 June 2024, with the aim to discuss the outcomes of the 34th Session of the Regional Conference for Europe, hosted by the Republic of Moldova between 14-17 May 2024, in Rome, Italy. The Committee will be updated on the preparation of the region for the COP29 as well as on the impact of the war in Ukraine on food security and related matters. Members of the ExCom will start preparing for the next 44th Session of the ECA to be held in September 2025. The Committee will review the suggested technical topics to be presented on its meetings regarding the implementation of the regional work programme in Europe and Central Asia. The ExCom will discuss how the visibility of and awareness about its work can be further increased in the European Regional Group (ERG). Finally, the updated Information Document about the Executive Committee's working modalities will be presented.     

The meeting of the Executive Committee is not open to the public. The minutes will be made available on this website within 14 days after the meeting.
