GEF / OPIM Training Workshop

FAO country offices are at the forefront of FAO delivering capacity and they are key stakeholders for the negotiations with the Government counterparts.
After attending this training the participants will be able to:
1. understand concepts and key steps for formulating and implementing FAO Projects whether implemented by FAO directly or through partners using Operational Partners Implementation Modality (OPIM);
2. apply practical knowledge and understand processes around the identification, formulation and implementation of GEF OPIM and Directly Implemented Projects (DIM);
3. manage the GEF Agency fees based on the FAO GEF fee allocation system released in September 2016
