Inauguration Ceremony: Increase Self-Reliance and Improve Agricultural Livelihoods of Refugees through Employment Opportunities Project (Phase III)

The inauguration ceremony will be organized by FAO and Bursa Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry under " Increase Self-reliance and Improve Agricultural Livelihoods of Refugees through Employment Opportunities " project which is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and implemented in close collaboration with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the Directorate General of Migration Management, Ministry of Family and Labor and Social Services and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The project aims to develop vocational skills in agriculture sector of 815 vulnerable people both Syrians and host communities and provide them with sustainable employment opportunities in the following eight provinces: Adana, Bursa, Gaziantep, İzmir, Kilis, Manisa, Mersin and Şanlıurfa.
