Mainstreaming Climate Change Adaptation in FYR Macedonia - workshop

The purpose of this workshop is threefold. First, FAO will present the results of the “Mainstreaming Climate Change Adaptation in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: Institutional and policy Mapping Report” project that illustrates possible entry points for Climate Change institutionalization from agricultural policy perspective. In particular this workshop provides an opportunity to review and to discuss the proposed options for climate change mainstreaming with the Macedonian policy makers and other stakeholders. Second, a presentation and a training will be organized to familiarize the participants with how to construct environmental indicators to analyse agricultural policy. Third, an initial discussion on the GCF opportunity of the country will be initiated, as well as a collective brainstorming on the country’s priorities in relation to Climate Change.
