National on-job training for phytosanitary laboratory staff on pest diagnostic using modern laboratory equipment

FAO REU is continuing to support the NPPO of Belarus in addressing the lack of knowledge and skills on the use of modern laboratory equipment and inspection tools by provided trainings with involvement of high-level international experts. This is done by enhancing knowledge of specialized laboratory staff on modern laboratory procedures, modern diagnostic and control protocols through capacity development on-job training to ensure timely and efficient identification of quarantine and regulated pests. With this event, the national activities in Belarus under the TCP/RER/3503: Strengthening capacities of the national phytosanitary control services in four Eastern European countries will be finalized.
