Regional Conference on “Habitat restoration for inland fisheries in the Danube basin and adjacent Black Sea areas”

This Regional Conference hosted by Romania will bring together scientists and experts on aquatic habitats and inland fisheries of Europe, to discuss mutual problems facing management of rivers, especially transboundary bodies such as the Danube.

The Conference will share country and research experiences and brainstorm on evidence-based solutions for improved aquatic biodiversity, food security and livelihoods for riparian fishing communities. The event is organized by FAOREU, EIFAAC and EUROFISH International Organization.
