Regional workshop on combating dieback of pine forests

FAO is providing technical assistance to the Government of the Republic of Belarus and of Ukraine to develop and implement an emergency action plan for combating dieback of pine forests and to find a long-term, coordinated solution to reduce or control the periodic incidence of bark beetle infestations.
Part of this effort, the regional expert meeting in Minsk  is aimed at discussing the issue and working on the action plan.
