Strengthening the agricultural advisory services in Azerbaijan

As part of its efforts to diversify the economy, it is a priority for the Government of Azerbaijan to stimulate growth in agriculture. To this end, a project funded by the European Union and implemented by FAO is supporting the development of a well-coordinated, demand-driven, and resilient agricultural advisory services system that facilitates innovations through knowledge exchange, collaborations, and partnerships, and ultimately improves rural livelihoods while protecting and enhancing the natural environment. The event will feature discussions on how the transformations of the Azerbaijani advisory service system initiated by the project can be further sustained and scaled up.

The event will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation into Azerbaijani language.
