Supporting the development of organic farming and institutional capacity building in Kazakhstan - orientation workshop

The Workshop will be conducted within the "Supporting the development of organic farming and institutional capacity building in Kazakhstan" project, to discuss the current status of organic sector development, legislation and further strategy.

The Seminar will also support in finding a common understanding among partners in the organic area on the eve of the FAO and the ministry of agriculture session at Astana Economic Forum 15 June 2017.

FAO partners in organic sector development in Kazakhstan are invited including state bodies responsible for the sector development and certification system set up, as well as Academia, NGO’s, international organizations working in the sector are invited for the Seminar.

International experts will make presentations and lead discussion.
