Webinar: Reducing antimicrobial use – The Belgian experience

On the occasion of the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (18–24 November), Jeroen Dewulf, Professor in the Ghent University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, will deliver an insightful lecture on reducing antimicrobial use through ensuring better biosecurity. Dewulf’s main research focuses on quantitative epidemiology and control of zoonoses with a specific emphasis on antimicrobial use and resistance in animals, as well as the prevention of epidemic and endemic diseases and the application of biosecurity measures.
The event will be held in English and Russian languages with simultaneous interpretation.
