World Food Day lecture

Ahead of World Food Day, FAO is organizing a public lecture to provide food for thought on this year’s theme, healthy food and nutrition.
The lectures will be followed by a panel discussion with FAO’s food safety and quality officer Mary Kenny.
Finally, the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Speakers:
- Marianne Penker (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna): The socio-ecological transformation in food – an overview of past changes in food consumption and diets;
- Eszter Doma (Hungarian National Food Chain Safety Office): Wasteless – a model for a sustainable future
The language of the event is English. Admission is free and open to the public.
