English, with interpretation into Russian

The FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (REU) invites researchers, technology providers, UN partners, IFIs and policymakers to a webinar marking a milestone for the region's digital agriculture community: over 1 000 initiatives catalogued by the AgriTech Observatory — and the moment to put them to work through active use, contribution and partnerships.

    About the event

The AgriTech Observatory was developed by the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia as a regional knowledge platform and digital public good, aggregating and structuring information on digital agriculture initiatives, technologies and use cases across the region.

This webinar aims to accelerate the Observatory’s transition from a knowledge repository into an operational tool for action.

    Objectives

    • Demonstrate the Observatory’s practical value for research, programme design and policy in digital agriculture through live work on real country challenges.
    • Showcase what’s next for the Observatory's through visual mock-ups of additional data layers and functionalities that will deepen the platform's analytical value and decision-support capacity for users and partners.
    • Mobilise partnerships and contributions to expand the Observatory’s coverage, functionality and sustainability.

    Who should attend

If you work in — or are simply curious about — digital agriculture in Europe and Central Asia, this webinar is for you.
