Award Ceremony of the National Agricultural Olympiad

With 1 342 participants registered, 42 winners have been identified for the National Agricultural Olympiad of Georgia in various categories in the fields of agronomy, food technology, forestry, wine technology, agricultural mechanization, veterinary medicine, and environmental protection.

The Agricultural Olympiad targets:

• Specialists (higher or professional education in the field of agriculture)
• Students (universities of agricultural profile and professional studies)
• Farmers (agricultural studies and practical experience)
• School students (public/private schools and specialized colleges)
  

The National Agrarian Olympiad has been organized since 2021 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under the patronage of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the financial support from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC). The Environmental Information and Education Centre of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the Rural Development Association (ADA) are partners of the Olympiad.
