Consultation workshop: Responding to the crisis in food, energy and financial systems

To better understand the impact of the triple crises on food security in Europe and Central Asia and to offer pertinent guidance and support to the vulnerable countries, FAO has commissioned a study on the consequences of the current food, energy and finance crisis on food security in vulnerable countries of Europe and Central Asia. The study is a part of FAO’s Regional Technical Cooperation Programme- “Responding to the crisis in food, energy and financial systems in Europe and Central Asia.”

As the draft report is ready, FAO, together with the Corvinus University is organizing a meeting to validate and enrich the findings through feedback and suggestions from representatives of governmental and academic institutions, as well as experts in food security-related fields from the region.
