Coordination Meeting of the One Health Committee under the Coordination Council on Public Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic

The Coordination Meeting of the One Health Committee under the Coordination Council on Public Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic aims to strengthen intersectoral collaboration and define concrete steps for the further institutionalization and implementation of the One Health approach in the country.

The meeting will bring together representatives from key government institutions, veterinary and public health services, environmental authorities, academia, and development partners to enhance coordination and ensure a comprehensive approach to health risks at the human–animal–environment interface.

Discussions will focus on improving communication strategies, strengthening preparedness and response to health emergencies, ensuring the sustainability of coordination mechanisms, and enhancing alignment of joint actions across sectors. The meeting will contribute to reinforcing national capacities for prevention and response to emerging threats, supporting public health, food safety, and environmental sustainability in Kyrgyzstan.
