Kyrgyzstan: Training on RuralInvest toolkit

Osh (Kyrgyzstan), 26/01/2026

The national training targets heads of cooperatives and specialists from a pilot Farmer Service Center in Osh city operating under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Farmer Service Center provides advisory services to farmers and facilitates access to preferential loans, enabling farmers to consolidate production and organize into cooperative structures.

FAO’s RuralInvest toolkit offers an interactive, hands-on approach that guides users from theory to practice, allowing specialists to work directly with entrepreneurs to develop feasible, appropriate and sustainable business plans. Through this FAO training, beneficiaries in Kyrgyzstan will acquire the skills needed to prepare bankable, sound and sustainable business proposals.

Specialists from Farmer Service Centers in Jalal-Abad, Batken and Osh regions will participate in the training to enhance their knowledge and practical use of the RuralInvest tool.
