Moldovan Agrifood Partnership Investment Forum 2026
Chișinău (Moldova), 05/03/2026
The Agrifood Partnership Investment Forum 2026, organized under the Moldovan Agrifood Partnership Platform (APP), will take place in Chișinău, on 5 March 2026. The forum will gather key stakeholders to advance sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient agrifood transformation in the Republic of Moldova.
This event, hosted by the Republic of Moldova with support from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and European Union (EU) member states, will highlight investment opportunities, discuss ongoing EU support, and facilitate new partnerships to enhance the Moldovan agrifood sector and its integration into European markets.
Since its launch in October 2023, the Moldova Agrifood Partnership Platform has been instrumental in strengthening Moldova’s agrifood sector, hosting key meetings and forums, including the January 2024 event within the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) in Berlin.
The forum will feature plenary sessions, targeted workshops, and a marketplace with local agrifood products. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with Moldovan producers and explore investment and export possibilities.
Key objectives include:
- Identifying investment opportunities in the Moldovan agrifood sector.
- Strengthening dialogue between Moldovan authorities, EU institutions, and private stakeholders in line with the Republic of Moldova’s EU integration goals.
- Mobilizing financial resources for priority projects.
- Designing technical and financing measures to turn reform commitments into bankable investments.
The event will bring together government officials, ministers from EU member states, EU institutions, international and national financial institutions, private sector actors, producer organizations, business associations, civil society, and development partners.
The forum will be conducted in both Romanian and English, with simultaneous interpretation provided.
