National antimicrobial resistance (AMR) working group meeting

An off-site meeting of the interdepartmental working group is planned with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, as well as FAO experts and other relevant actors.

The meeting will support further development of an interdepartmental programme aimed at preventing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This initiative reflects the joint commitment of national institutions and FAO to strengthen coordinated efforts in reducing the risks associated with antimicrobial resistance across the agriculture, environment, and health sectors.
