Training on artificial insemination for farmers in Naryn city
Naryn (Kyrgyzstan), 10/11/2025 - 11/11/2025
The main goal of the training is to enhance the capacity of artificial insemination technicians to improve livestock production in Kyrgyzstan.
During the training, special attention will be given to working with high-quality genetic material and learning how the use of modern artificial insemination technologies can help farmers enhance breed characteristics, boost productivity, and reduce the risk of disease transmission. Participants will be introduced to the latest scientific achievements in animal husbandry, as well as the proper methods of semen storage, transportation, and strict adherence to hygiene standards.
The practical component of the programme includes mastering the insemination procedure and understanding its economic advantages – particularly the cost savings achieved by eliminating the need to maintain breeding bulls. This approach also enables farmers to access superior genetic material from top breeding bulls located in other regions or countries, thereby significantly expanding breeding opportunities and improving herd quality.
