Veterinary Student Forum on Antimicrobial Resistance: Securing a Future Without AMR

On November 21st, FAO in collaboration with the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K. I. Skryabin, will hold a veterinary student forum to mark World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week 2025 under the theme "Securing a Future Without AMR." The event will bring together veterinary medicine students, young scientists, and faculty to address AMR as an immediate threat to health, agriculture, and food security. The event will be held within the framework of the project “Pandemic Action Fund (Kyrgyzstan): Enhancing Pandemic Preparedness and Response through the One Health Approach in Central Asia,” one of whose goals is to prevent and reduce risks associated with the rise of antimicrobial resistance.
