Workshop: Creating and maintaining digital veterinary records in Karakol city

The workshop aims to strengthen the skills of Kyrgyz state and private veterinarians in creating and maintaining digital veterinary records. It emphasizes how electronic systems enhance transparency, efficiency, and reliability of veterinary control.

Participants will learn about the goals and benefits of implementing an electronic epidemiological surveillance system, including improved data collection, analysis, and disease-response capacity – aligned with FAO’s approach to strengthening animal health information systems. Hands-on sessions will familiarize participants with the system’s interface and promote a unified, standardized approach to its use across all levels.
Special attention will be given to ensuring the sustainability of the system’s implementation by fostering understanding of professional responsibilities and awareness of future development prospects.
