Workshop: Promoting long-term, sustainable, green development and resilience of the table grape value chain

The Moldovan Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry has identified table grapes as a strategic product of the agriculture sector and suggested its inclusion in the FAO Global initiative One Country One Priority Product (OCOP). As a result, FAO jointly with the relevant development partners will provide support in assessing the table grapes value chain and develop effective policy solutions including a national investment plan. The mentioned results will be achieved through applying the joint FAO-UNIDO Agrifood System Transformation Accelerator methodology consisting of the value chain analysis of table grapes and the development of an investment plan to enhance the sustainability and attract investments in the Republic of Moldova's table grapes sector.
