Workshop on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and possibilities on use of alternatives of highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs) in Azerbaijan

In the framework of the project “Lifecycle Management of Pesticides and Disposal of POPs Pesticides in Central Asian countries and Türkiye”, FAO, the Agrarian Service Agency, and the Ministry of Agriculture jointly aim at strengthening Azerbaijan’s national capacities on sustainable and environmentally sound agriculture to reduce pesticides use and decrease human health and environmental risks by pesticide application through organizing a national workshop in Ganja, Azerbaijan. 

The workshop will be held with the aim to generate a better understanding of the IPM philosophy and approach in Azerbaijan and clarify the priorities and key roles of various players for IPM promotion at national level.
