In June 2024, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO provided 200 women in Bamyan center and Kahmard district with beekeeping packages along with technical training. They are now actively engaged in beekeeping and have each produced an average of 50 kg of honey, valued at USD 350.
